Pizza Rock has left the Sacramento area, but one of the restaurant's founders is involved in an eatery that's coming to a fast-growing part of Folsom. Slice House is among the restaurants planned for The Shops at Folsom Ranch, at the Highway 50 and East Bidwell Street interchange. The retail center will be part of Folsom Ranch, a massive project south of Highway 50 that's expected to include thousands of new homes, as well as retail projects, medical developments and a sports complex. Restaurateur Tony Gemignani is one of the partners in the Slice House restaurant franchise.
